Hey guys,
Today’s email will be a short one, but I have insane news!!!
- 1. I’m now the new video specialist for Spanish Land Olé North (our zone)!! AND
- 2. I’m getting a second greenie!!! 🤯🤯🤯
This past week has been like putting the pedal to the metal in a Tesla…Actually more like getting in a rocket and blasting off into space!
We’ve been *super* busy, and pretty soon we’ll be even busier! But, I can definitely tell that the Lord has been helping me a ton though because there’s absolutely no way I’d be able to this without extra help from heaven.
One of the more interesting things that happened this week was going and helping the brother of someone in our ward move into their apartment in downtown Winston. They had 2 trailers full of stuff, and he lived on the 6th floor. Needless to say, it was quite the adventure trying to cram the elevator with his furniture and things.
The other day, me and Elder Larson had a pretty cool experience. After we picked up dinner, we went to a nearby park to eat it, but it was shrimp, and the last time I had shrimp I was awake half the night throwing up and so just the smell made me wanna puke. SO, instead we walked around a little bit and we saw this Hispanic couple and after passing them I had the thought that we needed to go back and talk to them. We needed to get back to our apartment and so I initially ignored it, but I kept having this feeling to go and talk to them and I didn’t want to regret not talking to them, so me and Elder Larson went and talked to them and it was such a neat experience! They asked a few things about our religion and they told us a little bit about theirs. It wasn’t perfect and I had difficulty answering one of their questions in Spanish, but we were able to find common ground and testify of Jesus Christ! We both agreed we were meant to be there talking to each other. Afterward I was so pumped!
Anyway, I don’t have a lot of pictures this week. I need to be better at taking them… But, I hope y’all are doing just fine and dandy. Adelante!
