Hello everyone!
How are you? Sorry I missed sending an email last week 😬 It’s so much easier not to write one heh heh…But, I’ll do it anyway, even though I literally have no motivation to do so. I’ll try and keep this email nice and short.
Anyway, some significant things have happened since 2 weeks ago. So let’s dive right in!
🤯 General Conference
Did you guys watch General Conference?? What was your favorite talk? If you didn’t watch or listen to it, go do it! It was very uplifting, inspiring, and hopeful, which is something we all need, especially during these troublesome times. Honestly, I’m so thankful for inspired messages from our church leaders, especially President Nelson. I know that if we follow his council, we will be kept safe during all of this craziness. He is the Lord’s mouthpiece.
👌Mission Tour
This past week we had the opportunity to be visited by a member of the seventy, Elder Teh and his wife. They met with us over the course of a few days and they helped us learn how we can become better missionaries. It was pretty awesome!!
🤯🤯🤯🤯 Training & Transfers
Okay, so I am officially done with my training. And guess what news we got yesterday??????? Elder Raymond is going to be our new zone leader and I’m taking his place as the district leader, and I will be finishing Elder Larson’s training! AHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!! I’m going to be running this area, and that’s exciting but also low key scary because I can only understand about 17% of what people say in Spanish. This is a mountain to climb, but it’ll be an adventure! I definitely can’t do it alone, but I know that with God’s help, nothing is impossible.
🤯 P-Day
Today was super cool. We went to Hanging Rock State Park again to take our children (or the new missionaries). But this time it was raining and when we got to the top, it was in a cloud and you couldn’t see the ground. It felt like we were floating. It was so surreal. It almost felt like what most people think heaven is haha. One of the coolest things ever. Too bad pictures can’t quite capture what it’s like. But we also visited a cool waterfall. Also, our new video I made is dropping today! We’re excited about that!
Sorry this email is short. I have a lot to do 😬 But I love you all and hope you’re doing well!
I want all of you to know that I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is true. I know it and I love it! Nowhere on earth can you find such love, peace, hope, and joy. Jesus Christ is the source of that joy and light. We all need Him. I know he’s real, and He loves each one of you.
